Part-Time Custodian Aransas County ISD 619 N. Live Oak Street Rockport , TX 78381 Auxiliary - Position - Custodian **PRIMARY PURPOSE:**

Under general supervision, follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds at assigned campus.

**EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND PREREQUISITES:**

*High School Diploma or GED

*Valid Texas drivers license

**SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:**

*Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance and safety procedures

*Ability to operate cleaning equipment, lift heavy equipment and supplies in excess of 30lbs

*Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies

*Knowledge of basic techniques for minor repairs and ground maintenance
